This unaged blanc is a Guadeloupe cane juice rum, distilled from fresh pressed sugarcane juice in the agricole style and bottled unsweetened at 45 percent. Under Guadeloupe IGP rather than the Martinique AOC, it sits on the gentler, more rounded end of island agricole, the sort of white made to be mixed rather than studied.

The nose is expressive in the Guadeloupe tradition, leaning on cane with a hint of red cane character, while the palate stays soft and vegetal with light honey, herbs and a quiet anise note that carries into a dry finish. There is no aggressive proof or barnyard funk here, just clean cane freshness. It is honest company for a Ti Punch or an easy long drink, an unpretentious everyday agricole that prizes drinkability over drama.
