Saint James Tombolo Rhum Blanc Agricole

Saint James is one of Martinique's oldest and largest agricole houses (since 1765), known for its iconic squared bottle, and this Tombolo is a cask-strength blanc distilled from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice and bottled unsweetened in the AOC tradition.

This is a more aromatic, layered white than most blancs: the nose is fresh, citrussy and fruity with sugarcane, the palate moves into honey, floral notes and an unexpected black-tea character, and the finish opens onto pineapple, banana and apricot over an oily texture. At 50.5% the strength carries that range of aromas while keeping the fresh cane snap. A vivid, fruit-and-floral agricole blanc that makes a memorable Ti Punch and rewards neat, considered sipping.
