Description
Saint James has distilled on Martinique since 1765 and is one of the island's largest and most iconic houses. Maniba Blanc is its unaged white agricole, made under the protected AOC from fresh pressed sugar cane juice with no added sugar.
A Martinique blanc is all about freshness and snap, distilled from fresh cane juice and rested rather than aged. Expect the hallmarks of the style, grassy and herbaceous with notes of fresh cut lawn, green olive, briny salinity and white pepper, dry rather than sweet. Bottled at a forthright 50%, it is the classic base for a Ti Punch.
