Saint James J. Bally Reserve de la Famille is an aged agricole carrying the historic J. Bally name, now produced within the Saint James stable, one of Martinique's largest and oldest distilleries, founded in 1765. This numbered Reserve de la Famille is an aged blend.
Distilled from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice on a creole column and bottled unsweetened at 45%, it is true Martinique agricole. Aged rhum of this kind typically keeps a grassy, herbaceous backbone layered with vanilla, baking spice, toasted oak and cocoa, dry and more spice-forward than sweet molasses rum. The J. Bally name carries a long reputation in aged Martinique rhum.
