Description
Heritage comes from Saint James, the long established Martinique distillery founded in 1765. Unlike the house's signature cane juice agricole, this is a molasses based island blend, distilled on a column still and aged briefly in ex-Bourbon casks before bottling at 40%.
Drawing rum from more than one origin, it is a young, accessible blend rather than an aged single distillery rum. Light column distillation and a short rest in wood make it a soft and easygoing pour, suited to both sipping and mixing.
