Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 37, the Navy Blend Next Generation from Spirit of Rum, gathers pot and column still molasses rum from Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad, with an average age of around fourteen and a half years. It follows the Navy tradition of marrying classic Caribbean origins into a cohesive, full flavoured whole.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled unsweetened at 48.9%, it pours fruity and warm, with Jamaican esters, dark chocolate, baking spice and dry oak coming together as the rum opens up. The strength sits just below the typical Navy mark, which keeps it relaxed and approachable rather than punchy. With a little time in the glass it shows real depth, making it a versatile everyday sipper that shares easily with friends who like their rum honest and dry.
