Rum Nation is an Italian house known for well judged regional releases and a two stage tropical and European ageing approach, and this older blend leans toward elegance and balance rather than raw estery funk.

The Oloroso sherry influence is noticeable, lending banana, papaya, dried fruit, coconut, chocolate and a peppery, cinnamon laced spine to the aged Jamaican fruit. The strands knit together smoothly, with the sherry framing the fruit rather than dominating it.
