This Isla Grande Extra Anejo from Cuba Ron carries an unusually long 21 years for the island, where tropical ageing is fast and old stock is rare. Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at 40%, it should show the elegant, polished side of Cuban rum, vanilla, light oak spice and a soft, dry-leaning sweetness, with the extra years adding depth without heaviness.
