Consummatus is part of RomDeluxe's Limited Batch Series, the Danish house better known for its high ester Wild Series funk bombs. This is a gentler, more accessible multi distillery blend, briefly aged and aimed at easier drinking rather than extremity.

Built from pot and column still molasses rums and rested in ex-bourbon wood, it carries only a few months of stated age and has been lightly sweetened, so honesty demands noting it is not a bone dry bottling. At 42% it shows roasted, woody and estery notes that hint at the house's funkier instincts, over a fruity palate with a citrus edge and a soft, marzipan tinged roundness. The finish stays woody and estery with a vegetal touch. Pleasant, soft and easy going, it works well as an introduction to the RomDeluxe style or as a relaxed sipper for those who enjoy a touch of sweetness in a young, fruity blend.
