Grassy Sencha and deep Gyokuro green tea lead, with a savoury umami edge, floral notes and a flick of yuzu and sansho pepper on the close. Built for the Japanese ritual of noryo, cooling off on a hot day, this seasonal Roku leans into summer freshness. Delicate, layered and quietly cooling.

Description
Roku is Suntory's Japanese craft gin, built on six native botanicals each harvested at peak ripeness under the philosophy of shun. This Noryo Tea Edition, the second release in the Seasonal Festival Collection, foregrounds Sencha and Gyokuro green teas, prized for their freshness and depth. The name nods to noryo, the Japanese tradition of seeking cool, calm and nature on hot summer days, and the bottle carries it through with embossed botanicals and a washi-paper label.
The nose is delicately grassy, Sencha and fine citrus laid over classic gin aromatics. The palate turns umami and layered, Gyokuro green tea meeting floral nuances in fine balance, before a fresh finish of yuzu, mild sansho spice and lingering green tea. Pour it into a light highball or a gin and tonic with citrus zest, and serve alongside sushi or sashimi.
