Robert Watson is a long standing Scottish merchant, and this Demerara is its house take on Guyanese rum, distilled by Demerara Distillers Ltd. It carries no age statement and sits at a soft 40%.
Molasses based and clearly on the sweeter, caramel heavy side of the style, it reads as a classic dark rum rather than a purist single marque bottling.
