Rhum Chantal Comte Fighting Spirit Pink Iles du Vent is a Mauritian white rum from the Fighting Spirit range, distilled from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice and bottled by Rhum Chantal Comte. Mauritius falls outside the protected agricole appellation, so this is agricole-style cane rum rather than legal agricole.

Compared with its Green sibling it leans more floral and fruit-driven, with figs, mango and white flowers on the nose, then an oily, fresh palate of mixed fruits that carries more of the recognisable green agricole markers. The finish stays floral and oily with sugarcane and mango. Unaged and made to highlight the cane, it bottles at 55%, the proof giving the fragrant fruit some backbone. Dry rather than sweet, it suits a Ti Punch or a fruit-forward cane-juice cocktail where its floral side can lead.
