Renegade Rhum Blanc Pre-Cask Pearls

Renegade Rhum Blanc Pre-Cask Pearls is an unaged white from the Renegade distillery on Grenada, part of a project focused on single field, terroir driven cane spirit. Distilled from fresh cane in an agricole style and bottled before any oak contact, it puts the raw character of the cane front and centre.

At 50% and unaged, it is fresh and vegetal, with sugarcane, grass and a pronounced green olive note joined by citrus, apple and floral touches, finishing grassy, grapefruit tinged and faintly saline. There is no added sweetness here, just the dry snap of fresh pressed cane. This is a characterful, precise white in the spirit of a clean agricole or clairin, rewarding drinkers who love grassy, briny cane spirits whether sipped neat or stirred into a Ti' Punch style serve.
