Ramazzotti Sambuca is an Italian aniseed liqueur made in Milan by Ramazzotti, the house long known for its herbal liqueur. It is built on aniseed and a blend of other herbs in the traditional sambuca style, with cinnamon and coriander adding gentle spice to the core anise. Bottled at 38%, it offers a powerful anise intensity carried by a slight sweetness and a pleasant softness.

The nose shows intense aniseed with a light sweetness, a hint of herbs and subtle vanilla and citrus, while the palate is soft and harmonious with dominant aniseed spice supported by herbal sweetness and gentle cinnamon and coriander, closing long on a soft, sweet aniseed note. For a bar it brings concentrated anise flavour and sweetness, a way to add liquorice scented aromatics and body to a serve. It is enjoyed neat at room temperature or slightly chilled, refreshing over ice, and in the classic Sambuca con la Mosca with three coffee beans.
