Ramazzotti Aperitivo Fresco

Ramazzotti Aperitivo Fresco is a fruit forward aperitif liqueur from Ramazzotti of Milan, the house founded on its herbal liqueur and here continuing its family theme with a lighter style. The lemons and oranges come from Calabria and the mint from the region too, giving it a clear southern Italian citrus character. Bottled at 15%, it is built to be poured long and refreshing rather than sipped strong.

The nose is fruity lemon with hints of orange peel, mint and ginger, while the palate is fruity and tangy with natural lemon flavours, closing long on the palate. For the trade it is a low strength aperitivo base: it brings citrus brightness, gentle bitterness and acidity balance to a tall drink without much alcoholic weight. It is made for the spritz, poured neat over ice, topped with Prosecco or tonic water, and pairs naturally with light antipasti. Serve it well chilled.
