    R. Jelínek Amaro Liqueur is a Czech herbal liqueur from Rudolf Jelínek, a producer with a long distillation tradition. It is made by macerating more than twenty different botanicals, most of them from regional sources, which gives the liqueur a clear origin and authenticity. The herbs, roots and citrus ingredients are gently processed so their natural flavours integrate in a structured, harmonious way. It is bottled at 30%, a bittersweet, balanced interpretation in the herbal style.

The nose is complex and aromatic, with lemon, root notes, herbs and a subtle hint of root beer, while the palate is bittersweet and balanced, juicy and fresh, with citrus zest, herbs and fine fruity plum, before a harmonious, mildly bitter and citrusy finish. For a bar it brings a bitter backbone and citrus lift that cuts sweetness and adds aromatic depth to stirred drinks. It serves well as an after dinner digestif, neat or on ice, especially after braised meat, spicy pasta or mature hard cheese, and pairs with dark chocolate.
