Poli Elisir Prugna Liquore is a plum liqueur from Poli, the historic family distillery in Schiavon, Veneto, founded in 1898 and known across Italy for its grappas and liqueur specialities. Carefully selected plums are gently processed to capture their flavour, then the liqueur is refined with grappa from the house's own production. At 40% it is one of the firmer fruit liqueurs in the range, carrying the sweet fruitiness of ripe plums on the typical elegance of the brand.

The nose is intensely fruity around ripe plums, with fine spice and a hint of wood, while the palate is full bodied and smooth, with sweet and slightly tart plum, a fine nuttiness and an elegant grappa base, closing long, fruity and spicy with a warm depth. For the trade it adds rich stone fruit flavour, body and a grappa driven warmth that gives stirred drinks structure. Drink it neat at room temperature or lightly chilled, pair it with chocolate cake, fruit tart or vanilla ice cream, or work it into dessert focused cocktails.
