A Mediterranean herb garden in the glass: rosemary, mint, basil and thyme weave around juniper and a touch of cardamom. Gently vacuum-distilled by the Poli family in the Veneto, a grappa house since 1898. Soft and aromatic, with a long herbal finish and a flick of citrus freshness.

Description
The Poli distillery in Schiavon has been in the family since GioBatto Poli founded it in 1898, and today the four Poli siblings run it with the same care that built its grappa reputation. Marconi 42 is their gin, a tight seven-botanical recipe that reads like the Italian countryside: juniper joined by rosemary, mint, basil, thyme, cardamom and coriander. Gentle vacuum distillation keeps those fresh herbal oils vivid rather than cooked.
The nose is bright and green, juniper laced with mint, basil and rosemary. The palate is soft and layered, Mediterranean herbs and juniper spice carried on a fine freshness, before a long, aromatic finish with light citrus. Build it into a G&T with a Mediterranean tonic and a sprig of fresh basil or rosemary, or let it sharpen a Basil Smash.
