Pisang Ambon Green Banana

Pisang Ambon Green Banana is a fruit liqueur produced for Lucas Bols, the historic Amsterdam house, capturing the flavour of green bananas and tropical fruit. The name comes from the Indonesian word pisang, meaning banana, and the liqueur is known for its striking bright green colour as much as its flavour. It is bottled at 17% by volume in a 700 ml bottle.

The nose is intense with green bananas and tropical fruit lifted by a subtle sweetness, the palate sweet and fruity with clear green banana, more exotic fruit and a light spiciness, finishing soft, sweet and fresh. In a drink it brings vivid green colour, tropical fruit and sweetness, a quick way to add banana character and visual drama to a cocktail. It works neat and chilled or on ice, and shines in tropical serves such as a Tropical Banana Daiquiri, combining naturally with exotic juices and other fruit flavours.
