Patrón Tequila Reposado

Patron Tequila Reposado is a 100% agave tequila from Hacienda Patron at NOM 1492 in Atotonilco, the Bacardi-owned house known for crushing its cooked agave with both a stone tahona and a roller mill across dozens of pots on site. The reposado is built as a blend of the distillery's most successful barrels and carries the producer's additive-free position.
The agave is cooked, twice distilled and then rested in selected single barrels for up to eighteen months, a long stay for the rested class that pushes oak influence toward the añejo end. The result opens on intense cooked agave laced with dill and thyme, then turns to a softer interplay of citrus, oak and honey. It reads bright and floral with light pepper, the barrel adding roundness rather than heavy vanilla, and it finishes clean and warm at 40%.
