Paranubes Oaxaca Anejo is a Mexican cane juice rum, agricole in spirit if not in protected name, made from fresh pressed sugar cane in the highlands of Oaxaca. Bottled at cask strength around 53.8% from a single cask, it carries the open fermentation funk and wild, farmhouse quality that has made Paranubes a name among drinkers who chase rustic, terroir driven spirits. This release adds an unusual twist by maturing in ex tequila wood.

Distilled from cane juice and aged briefly but at full proof, it keeps a green, vegetal cane backbone while the cask layers in caramel, cream toffee and creme brulee richness, with banana and tropical fruit alongside. The tequila influence nods toward agave, making it a natural crossover for mezcal and tequila drinkers, and the finish stays drier and slightly spicy.
