Description
Panda Gin's Master Juniperus is a limited edition of 5,000 bottles, built to put the juniper berry centre stage while refining the house recipe alongside a master distiller. Pure water drawn from the High Fens and organic grain alcohol give it a clean, unfussy base. Onto that go lychee and cherry for fruit, orange peel for citrus, basil and rosemary for herbal depth, and Chinese star anise for a subtly spicy lift.
The nose carries ripe lychee and cherry over herbal notes and a spicy juniper edge. The palate is strong and aromatic, juniper spice and star anise framed by refreshing citrus, with the higher strength giving it real presence. The finish is long and clean. Pour it over plenty of ice with tonic and a twist of orange, or stir it into a sharp Martini.
