Pampero Especial is a Venezuelan molasses rum from Licorero del Centro, a light column-distilled rum in the smooth Spanish style and bottled unsweetened at 40%. It sits at the everyday, budget end of the category, the kind of clean, simple rum made for mixing rather than contemplative sipping.

Column distillation to a high, light strength keeps congeners low, so the character is gentle and oak-led, vanilla, caramel and a nutty, almond and maple sweetness with a noticeable ethanol lift and modest depth.
