Pampero is a long-standing name in Venezuelan rum, working in the smooth, dessert-leaning DOC tradition.
This bottling is openly sweetened, so it is best approached for what it is: a soft, rounded, gently sweet sipper rather than a dry, structured rum. Expect the vanilla, caramel and dried-fruit character typical of aged Venezuelan ron, carried on a mellow body with the sweetness adding to its after-dinner appeal.
