Description
Pallini Limoncello Liqueur comes from Pallini, a long established Roman drinks house known above all for its limoncello, made from Sfusato lemons grown on the Amalfi Coast. The family has produced this limoncello since 1875, hand picking the lemons and preserving them immediately after harvest to hold their freshness and full flavour, and the company exports to over thirty five countries. It is bottled at 26% by volume and offered in 50cl, 70cl, 1 litre and 3 litre sizes.
The nose is strong and fruity with ripe lemons, the palate full bodied and zesty with the character of freshly grated lemon, closing long with a hint of dried spice. In a drink it adds bright lemon, sweetness and acidity, a clean way to bring zesty citrus to spritzes, long drinks and sours. It works equally as a chilled digestif and as a kitchen ingredient for ice cream and fruit salads, and is best served well chilled.
