Description
Pacific & Lime Tequila Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber blanco from the lowland plains of Jalisco, using agave up to eight years old. Brand owner Niksa Pirovic developed it with Bruno Barba, who comes from the Romo de la Pena family, one of the oldest and most influential names in Mexican tequila, and was a co initiator of the Huizache brand.
Its signature is a split cook: part of the agave is steamed under low pressure in an autoclave, part baked slowly in a classic brick horno, and the two are brought together to widen the aroma. Bottled unaged at 40% with no additives, it shows fresh, light citrus, cooked agave, a fruity lift and a wet grass minerality, then a silky palate of cooked agave, citrus fruit and clear stony mineral character, an affordable, honest lowland blanco.
