Description
Orancello Aperitivo Culinario is an orange liqueur from Germany, made by Krugmann and bottled at 28%. It is built on sun ripened oranges, with its character drawn from essential orange oil extracted from the peel, which gives an intense yet velvety structure. Gentle processing keeps the natural freshness of the fruit, so the bottle reads as a fruity, finely balanced orange aperitif in the Mediterranean style rather than a heavy sweet one.
The nose is intense orange with a fresh zesty note and a fine aromatic spiciness, the palate full bodied and velvety with juicy orange, fruity sweetness and an elegantly tart balance, finishing fresh and lingering with clear orange fruit and a slightly bitter edge. Behind the bar it brings orange flavour, sweetness and a bittersweet lift, which makes it a natural for a modern spritz with tonic, soda or Prosecco and a partner to light starters, antipasti or Mediterranean snacks. It is ideal as a classic aperitif served neat or well chilled. Serve it cold to show the fresh orange.
