Opthimus 15 Años Malt Whisky Finish 2018 comes from Oliver & Oliver, the Dominican blending house behind the Opthimus and Cubaney ranges. This is molasses spirit distilled on a column still, given a malt whisky cask finish that adds a distinctive cereal note, and bottled at a firmer 43%.

The whisky cask shows most on the finish. The nose offers raisin, creme brulee, malt and barrel, the palate brings malt, raisin, dark chocolate and sweetness, and the finish stays sweet with malt, dried fruit and a peppery edge.
