Description
Cubaney Estupendo comes from Oliver and Oliver, the Dominican blending house behind the Cubaney and Opthimus ranges. Distilled from molasses on a column still in the island's amber, vanilla led tradition, it is built for softness and easy sweetness, bottled at a low 38%. The nose is pungent and barrel led, sweet with a touch of spirit.
The palate leans very sweet, sugar and molasses with a black pepper spice, finishing warm, spicy and a little thin. This is an honestly sugary, soft and creamy rum that drinks easily but stays simple, with the sweetness doing most of the talking, made for relaxed casual sipping or stretching into a longdrink.
