From the East Village Whisky Company, this Old Rhosdhu is a historic Loch Lomond malt name, a mature 29 year old from 1990.
Nearly three decades in ex-Bourbon mellow the light spirit, the low-tannin oak giving vanilla as alcohol slowly left the cask.
At 48.9% it shows citrus, a husky, leafy maltiness and a hay-like, cooked-mash depth over old wood. A mature Old Rhosdhu.
