Jack Wiebers' Old Train Line series carries this Old Rhosdhu, a historic Loch Lomond malt name, a 29 year old from 1990 drawn from cask 401.
Nearly three decades in ex-Bourbon mellow the light spirit, vanilla coming from the gentle oak as decades of angel's share softened the strength.
At 49.8% it shows the soft maturity of great age, light malt and honey over old wood. A mature Old Rhosdhu.
