Neisson is a small family distillery dating to 1931 and a long-standing favourite among agricole drinkers on Martinique, and this Tatanka edition blends house cuvees into a young, expressive agricole. It is distilled from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice rather than molasses, then rested only briefly in ex-bourbon oak, so the cane stays front and centre.

With roughly eighteen months in wood, the oak is present as a frame rather than a flavour, letting fresh sugarcane, citrus and a touch of vanilla carry the nose. The palate keeps that bright cane snap, balanced by young wood and light spice, before a finish that turns mineral and earthy. Unsweetened and bottled at 49%, it is easy and engaging neat and a natural in a Ti' Punch, where the fresh cane character does the talking.
