Description
Neisson Tatanka La Laverie 2022 is a white Martinique rhum agricole from Neisson, the small family distillery founded in 1931 and long a favourite among agricole drinkers. Tatanka is one of the house's experimental blanc releases, here from a 2022 cane harvest.
Distilled from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice on a creole column run low to keep the vegetal congeners, this unaged blanc is bottled at a punchy 52.5% with no added sugar. In the house style a Neisson blanc at this strength should show classic agricole snap, grassy and herbaceous with fresh cane sap, white pepper and a saline edge, the higher proof carrying it. A natural base for a Ti' Punch.
