Neisson Profil Équilibre 2025

Neisson is a small family distillery in Martinique with a loyal following, and Profil Equilibre is, as the name suggests, built for balance, a blend bottled unsweetened under the AOC at cask strength 52.5%. Pressed from fresh cane juice, it keeps the grassy core while aiming for an approachable, rounded character.

Light oak shapes the fresh cane rather than dominating it: a nose of fresh sugarcane, wood and caramel, a palate of cane, gentle wood, floral notes and caramel, then a finish that turns woody, citrusy and oily with sugarcane lingering. There is a coconut and vanilla softness that makes it easy going despite the proof. Smooth and refreshing, it suits drinkers who like Neisson's clean cane style and want something rounded, good neat or with a splash of water.
