Neisson Profil 107 (90ans distillerie)

Neisson Profil 107 was released for the 90th anniversary of Neisson, the small family distillery in northern Martinique long favoured by agricole enthusiasts. It is a young, high-strength expression built around the distillery's house character.

Distilled from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice and given a year in ex-bourbon oak, it is bottled unsweetened at cask strength, 52.8%. Barely aged agricole at this proof keeps much of the grassy, vegetal snap of a blanc while picking up early vanilla and light oak from its short rest. Expect a vivid, cane-forward, dry profile that rewards a little water, with the wood present but secondary to the fresh spirit.
