Neisson Le Rhum Bio Par Neisson 2020

Neisson Le Rhum Bio is the organic white from Neisson, a small family distillery near Le Carbet with a loyal following since 1931. This 2020 release is bottled at full strength, a step up in power and dryness from the standard blanc while keeping the house signature of clean, expressive cane.

Distilled from fresh pressed cane juice on a creole column run low to preserve the green, vegetal heart of the spirit, it shows fresh sugar cane, tropical fruit and citrus on the nose, then a peppery, faintly dried fruit palate that finishes vegetal, floral and dry. There is no sweetening to lean on, just the snap and saline lift of good Martinique blanc. It rewards a small splash of water and is a natural base for Ti Punch.
