A cask-strength white agricole from Neisson, the Dekolaj line bottled in jeroboam from the 2024 cane harvest, distilled on a creole column from fresh Martinique cane juice and bottled dry at 52.5%.
Description
Neisson Dekolaj Jeroboam Foundations is an unaged blanc from Neisson, the family distillery in the far north of Martinique long prized by agricole enthusiasts. The Dekolaj name marks the distillery's experimental whites, here drawn from the 2024 harvest and presented in large-format jeroboam.
Distilled from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice on a creole column and left unaged, it is bottled unsweetened at full strength, 52.5%. White agricole at this proof typically shows intense grassy and vegetal character: fresh-cut cane, green olive, brine and white pepper, dry and driven by freshness. The strength rewards a splash of water and makes it a vivid base for a Ti Punch.
