Neisson Blanc Parcelles en conversion bio

Neisson is a small family distillery on Martinique with a devoted following, and this Blanc comes from parcels in organic conversion, a white agricole made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice and bottled at a natural 52.5%. Under the island's AOC it carries no added sugar, and it is a dry, vibrant blanc that shows exactly why Neisson is so highly regarded.

Distilled on a creole column run low to keep the green cane congeners, then rested rather than aged, it stays sharp and lifted. The nose is all fresh sugar cane, vegetal greenery, citrus and lemon, the palate keeps the cane front and centre with vegetal notes and bright lime, and the finish turns to lemon, sugar cane and a clean bitter edge. It carries all the flavours of a ti' punch in the glass, equally at home neat, in that classic serve, or in a sharp cocktail.
