This Quiet Rebels edition is named for Gordon, of the Nc’nean team. A 2019 vintage, it pairs the distillery's signature recharred red wine wood with a Vin Doux Naturel cask.
The shaved, toasted and recharred red wine cask gave red fruit and spice while the Vin Doux Naturel added a honeyed, grapey sweetness and dried fruit.
At 48.5% it shows fresh and dried fruit, a sherried sweetness, chocolate and honey. A red wine and Vin Doux Naturel Quiet Rebel.
