Description
This is a cask-strength batch of Nc’nean's Organic Single Malt, GD06, marrying ex-Bourbon, STR red wine and Oloroso casks, a 2019 vintage from the Morvern distillery.
The three cask types pulled in different directions on the young organic spirit, the bourbon oak lending vanilla, the recharred red wine wood red fruit and spice, and the Oloroso dried fruit through its melanoidins.
At 59.6% it shows vanilla, honey, citrus and fresh fruit at full strength, undiluted. The core range, undiluted and layered.
