This Aon single cask leans on the distillery's signature wood, a 2018 spirit matured in a shaved, toasted and recharred red wine cask, number 18-393.
The recharred wine wood worked fast on the young spirit, its caramelised layer giving red berry and baking spice over a fresh-fruited, hay-like body.
At 57.1% it shows fresh fruit, a hay-like note and malt over red fruit, undiluted. A red wine cask Aon.
