Description

This Aon single cask is a 2017 spirit matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in a Vin Doux Naturel cask, the sweet fortified red wine of southern France, cask 17-342.

The bourbon oak gave the young spirit vanilla before the Vin Doux Naturel cask layered on a honeyed, grapey sweetness and cooked red fruit.

At 51.4% it shows cooked fruit and a fragrant, honeyed sweetness, undiluted. A Vin Doux Naturel Aon.
