This Aon single cask is an early 2017 spirit given full maturation in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, cask 17-257, from Nc’nean's organic distillery in Morvern.
Four years in Oloroso wrapped the young, fruity spirit in dried fruit, the cask's melanoidins giving chocolate and a nutty depth quickly at cask strength.
At 59.6% it shows dried fruit, chocolate, honey and a nutty note, undiluted. A young, sherried Aon.
