Nardini Tagliatella is a fruity cherry liqueur from Ditta Bortolo Nardini, the distillery founded in 1779 at Bassano del Grappa and one of the oldest in Italy. La Tagliatella is a registered house trademark, an aromatic liqueur built on a base of marc brandy, grain alcohol and Marasca cherry juice, refined with natural flavours that give it its fruity, refreshing note. The grappa house pedigree shows in that marc brandy base, which sets it apart from a plain cherry maceration. It is bottled at 35%.

The nose is fresh cherry, slightly sweet and fruity, the palate full bodied and fruity with Marasca cherry and a gentle, slightly sweet edge, finishing long and balanced with a pleasant fruity flavour. Behind the bar it brings cherry fruit, colour and a rounded sweetness, and the house positions it as an alternative to vermouth, which makes it a characterful base for a cherry forward stirred drink or a fruity spritz. Serve it neat or over ice, or use a measure to add ripe cherry depth to a cocktail.
