Description
From Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, this 38 Year Old is a 1979 vintage. Mosstowie was the heavier malt Miltonduff made on its Lomond stills between 1964 and 1981, a separate spirit from the same Speyside distillery. From ex-Bourbon cask 14575, 138 bottles filled.
Across thirty-eight years heavy evaporation and slow oxidation refined the fuller Mosstowie spirit, the strength drifting toward 40% as the angels took their share.
At 43.4% it shows deep mature orchard fruit and vanilla, undiluted. A 1979 Mosstowie 38.
