Description
Sestante, the storied Italian bottler. Mosstowie was the heavier malt Miltonduff made on its Lomond stills between 1964 and 1981, a separate spirit from the same Speyside distillery. This 17 Year Old is a Rare Highland Malt bottling at a remarkable cask strength.
Across seventeen years the oak's ellagitannins added structure while oxidation deepened the heavier Mosstowie make into cooked fruit and light spice.
At 66% it shows the dense, oily Mosstowie body over vanilla, undiluted. A Mosstowie 17.
