Description

Sestante, the storied Italian bottler. Mosstowie was the heavier malt Miltonduff made on its Lomond stills between 1964 and 1981, a separate spirit from the same Speyside distillery. This 17 Year Old is a Rare Highland Malt bottling at 40%.

Seventeen years in a bourbon cask matured the fuller Mosstowie spirit into richer territory, toffee and cooked fruit over an emerging waxiness.

At 40% it shows the soft, oily, malty Mosstowie body over vanilla. A Mosstowie 17.
