This official bottling comes from Mortlach itself. Mortlach, the Beast of Dufftown, condenses its spirit in worm tubs and part-triple-distils through the tiny Wee Witchie still, building weight and a savoury, sulphury core.
European oak gave the gamey, savoury spirit spicy, tannic dried fruit.
At 43.4% it shows citrus. Mortlach at full weight.
