Description
The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd., an independent bottler, bottles this bottling, cask 9355, an outturn of 732 bottles. Mortlach, the first licensed distillery in Dufftown, runs a 2.81-times distillation and worm-tub condensers that give the heavy, meaty spirit fans call the Beast of Dufftown.
Oloroso wrapped the muscular Dufftown spirit in dried fruit, melanoidins giving raisin, fig and chocolate.
At 61.5% it shows chocolate and dried fruit, undiluted. The savoury Dufftown style.
