Description
Decadent Drinks, the independent behind the Equinox & Solstice and Decadent Drams ranges, drew this 10 Year Old. Mortlach, the Beast of Dufftown, condenses its spirit in worm tubs and part-triple-distils through the tiny Wee Witchie still, building weight and a savoury, sulphury core.
Ten years in ex-Bourbon let oak meet weight, vanilla and honey from lignin and wood sugars settling over the dense Mortlach spirit.
At 58.5% it shows a savoury, struck-match note, undiluted. A muscular Speyside malt.
